French Toast Flavored Milk

Now that summer is shining through our windows, our kitchens seem to slow down a bit in the mornings. Gone is the hustle and bustle of making breakfast, packing school lunches, and let’s not forget the occasional last-minute homework assignment. With the extra minutes on your hands, it’s the perfect time to experiment with new flavors and cuisine. I put this winning recipe from Sandra S. from Texas to the test. My kids couldn’t get enough. French toast milk tastes like the real deal only in a glass. Give it a try!

Ingredients (Two Servings):

  • 2 cups Hiland Dairy Milk
  • ½ teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • ¼ teaspoon nutmeg
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon maple syrup

Directions:

Measure two cups of milk and pour in a medium-sized container.

Add the remaining ingredients.

Whisk until completely blended together.

Refrigerate for one hour.

Pour into two glasses. Garnish with bread and your favorite fruit.
