Two Irresistible Flavors, One Delicious Treat
Whoever joined the flavors of chocolate and mint for the first time is a genius. My family loves the combination, so whenever I whip up a batch of these delectable mint chocolate fudge brownies, it doesn’t take long for them to disappear.
Mint Chocolate Fudge Brownies
- 1 box fudge brownie mix
- 2 cups powdered sugar
- 1 cup softened Hiland Dairy Butter, divided
- 2 tablespoons Hiland Dairy Milk
- 1 dash green food coloring
- 1 1/2 teaspoons mint extract
- 6 ounces semisweet chocolate chips
Bake brownies according to directions in a 9 x 13-inch pan. Refrigerate for 30 minutes.
Combine the powdered sugar, milk, half a cup of butter, green food coloring and mint extract in a small bowl.
Pour over the cooled brownies and smooth out over the top. Refrigerate for 30 minutes.
In a microwave-safe bowl, melt the chocolate chips and remaining half-cup of butter in the microwave.
Pour over the chilled mint brownies, tipping the pan to cover completely.
Cool in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes before serving.
Create clean edges by dipping your knife in hot water and wiping clean before slicing. You’ll get perfect squares every time!
