Make 2017 the Best Year Yet

Making New Year’s resolutions is one thing. Making them come true is another. If you want your self-promises to stick, don’t make them unattainable. Keep them realistic and within reach, and make them a personal priority.

My resolution in 2017 is to make sure my family maintains a healthy diet. At the top of my healthy-eating list is protein. This superpower nutrient does so much good for the mind and body that it’s a must in my house. Here’s what I’m doing this year to add more protein to our diets:

I make sure my kids eat cold cereal for breakfast before they head off to school. This way I know they’re getting one to two cups of Hiland Dairy Milk (with eight grams of protein per serving) before the school bell rings.

For lunch, I add a scoop of Hiland Dairy Cottage Cheese (with 13 to 14 grams of protein per serving) to my husband’s salad and top it with a sprinkle of Hiland Dairy Shredded Cheese (with seven to eight grams of protein per serving).

I only serve Hiland Dairy Milk (with eight grams of protein per serving) with dinner. And, I make sure everyone drinks every last drop! Cooking with Hiland Dairy products is second nature to me. I know my family is getting farm-fresh dairy that is loaded with essential vitamins and minerals.
