Strawberry Lemonade Ice Cream Float

Summer is officially here with this delicious Strawberry Lemonade Ice Cream Float! Hiland Dairy Vanilla Ice Cream, real strawberries and yummy lemonade.

Just when you thought summer was sweet enough, in walks in the Strawberry Lemonade Ice Cream Float. I absolutely love this sweet, fresh, slightly tart and creamy ice cream float using Hiland Dairy Homemade Vanilla Ice Cream.

Homemade Strawberry Sauce that is super simple to make. (you could definitely use a store bought strawberry sauce as well). Choose a cup, add the ice cream, pour your strawberry sauce then pour the lemonade. That’s it. Super refreshing for a hot day!

Strawberry Lemonade Ice Cream Float

Ingredients

  • 12 fresh strawberries, sliced
  • 1 Tbsp sugar
  • Hiland Dairy Vanilla Ice Cream
  • lemonade
  • fresh strawberries and lemons to garnish

Instructions

  • Strawberry Sauce: In a small saucepan, add the strawberry slices and sugar. Heat on medium heat. As they heat up, start to smash them with a wooden spoon. Continue to do this until you have a sauce. Remove from heat and let cool completely.
  • In a cup, place one scoop of Hiland Vanilla Ice Cream in the bottom. Then top with a spoonfull of strawberry sauce. Place another scoop over strawberry sauce and continue until cup is full.
  • Slowly pour lemonade until you reach the top. Stir a bit to mix all together.
  • Garnish with strawberries or lemons, add a straw and enjoy!
