Homemade Chocolate Whipped Cream with Heart-Shaped Strawberries

Materials

  • 1 lb. fresh strawberries
  • 1 16. oz carton Hiland Heavy Whipping Cream
  • 1/2 c. confectioner's sugar
  • 1/4 c. unsweetened cocoa powder

Instructions

  • Wash the strawberries with cold water and remove the stems.
  • With a paring knife, cut a v-shape section off the top of each strawberry. Set the strawberries aside.
  • Sift the confectioner’s sugar and cocoa together into a bowl.
  • Pour the whipping cream into a medium-sized bowl. While whipping the cream with a hand-held mixer, slowly feed the cocoa mixture into the cream and whip until you can form peaks with the beaters.
  • Place the strawberries in a container with a small bowl of the delicious chocolate whipped cream and serve.
