Eggnog Waffles with Cinnamon Whipped Cream

Crispy on the outside, chewy on the inside and filled with the flavors of the season!



  • 3 1/2 cups All-Purpose Flour
  • 2 tbsp Sugar
  • 2 tbsp Baking Powder
  • 2 tsp Kosher Salt
  • 1 1/2 tsp Cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp Nutmeg
  • 4 Eggs
  • 3 cups Hiland Dairy Eggnog
  • 10 tbsp Hiland Dairy Butter (melted)

Cinnamon Whipped Cream

  • 1 cup Hiland Dairy Heavy Cream
  • 3 tbsp Sugar
  • 1/2 tsp Cinnamon
  • 1 tsp Pure Vanilla Extract



  • In a large bowl, mix together the flour, baking powder, sugar, salt, cinnamon and nutmeg. Set aside. 
  • In another bowl, whisk together the eggs, Hiland Dairy Eggnog and Hiland melted butter. Pour the eggnog mixture into the flour mixture and mix together until just combined. 
  • To make waffles, spray the waffle maker with nonstick spray and pour about ¼ to ⅓ cup batter into the waffle maker. Cook each side 2-3 minutes and then remove. Repeat with remaining batter. 

Cinnamon Whipped Cream

  • In a large bowl, combine the Hiland Dairy heavy cream, sugar, cinnamon and vanilla. Using a hand mixer or stand mixer and whip until soft peaks form. 
  • Top waffles with whipped cream (and butter and syrup if you’re feeling fancy) and enjoy!
